As generations of men continue to multiply on earth, so does sin. In Genesis 5-6, God expresses His displeasure in the expanding wickedness and decides to destroy the earth. However, one man on earth found favor in God's eyes: Noah. As a result, God chose to spare Noah and his family in order to re-populate the earth.
While Genesis 1 and 2 are about a created world that is very good, Genesis 3 is where it all went wrong. Every time we sin and every tear we cry in this life can be traced back to what happened in Genesis 3. However even in Genesis 3 God makes known his promise to recover all that went bad. When we examine Genesis 3 we can see our own pattern of sin and even more important we see redemption.
