Still childless, in Genesis 16 Abram tries to "help God out" again. At the suggestion of his wife, Sarai, Abram has a child with the servant, Hagar. But this child will not become the nation that God has promised to Abram.
Has Abram messed up God's will? What about Hagar and the child, Ishmael? Does God have a plan for them?
Life is messy and full of twists and turns. Ultimately, our only hope lies in the fact that God is sovereign over all things -even in the most difficult of situations.
