Scott Attebery

Scott Attebery

Pastor for Preaching

Scott arrived in El Dorado in July of 2005 after serving in campus ministry at the University of Central Arkansas and coordinating student conferences for the Department of Church Ministries.  In 2008, Scott’s wife, Jill, passed away in an automobile accident. He recalls, “God used our Church to be Christ to my family and me during that time.” Scott’s most important ministry is to his son, Bryce. They love to play in the backyard and cheer for the Razorbacks together. A graduate of Central Baptist College and the BMA Theological Seminary, Scott is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary

Donny Hymer

Donny Hymer

Pastor for Church Ministries

Donny has been serving Wyatt Baptist Church since October of 1992. His roles include developing meaningful worship services, overseeing educational programs, and coordinating member services. Previously, Donny served churches in Springhill, LA and Prescott, AR. Donny and Lori have 2 children, Lauren and Wesley. During his free time, Donny enjoys bike riding with Lori.

Adam Thomas

Adam Thomas

Pastor for Families & Counseling

Adam has served Wyatt since October 1999. His primary roles include counseling and soul care. Additionally, Adam coordinates ministries designed to aid parents in raising their children. Adam and Kristel are parents of two children, Gabriel and Trinity.  He is a graduate of Central Baptist College and the BMA Theological Seminary and enjoys running, hunting, fishing, Apple gadgets, and LSU Football.

Josh Bullock

Josh Bullock

Minister for Students

Josh is married to Ann Claire and they have one daughter, Lila. Prior to joining the Wyatt staff in January of 2010, Josh served as Pastor to Youth at First Baptist Church in Damascus, AR. He is a 2005 graduate of Central Baptist College and a 2009 graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Josh enjoys spending time with family, playing sports, coon hunting, and reading good theology books. He has extremely eclectic tastes regarding music –including, but not limited to, bluegrass, Christian hip-hop, oldies, hymns, country, techno, and classical music. One of his favorite songs is “All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name.”

Charles Attebery

Minister for Senior Adults

Charles has served as Senior Adult Minister at Wyatt Baptist Church since January, 2010. He previously served as a pastor, college administrator and denominational worker for the Baptist Missionary Association of America. He is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University and the University of Texas at Tyler and has studied at the BMA Theological Seminary. Charles and Janice have one son, Scott. Charles enjoys playing golf and spending time with his grandson.
